Team Goals: Win the State Championship. We believe we have the players to make it happen.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC West division. Defeated Corning 2-0 in a Best of Three series to win the Section IV Class AAA Championship. Lost to Ketcham (I) in the NYSPHSAA Class AAA Subregional.

Team Goals: After a state championship last year, the highest standard of excellence has been set. Horseheads baseball is built on hard work, fundamentals, pitching, and defense. The main goal is to carry that tradition on and continue to strive for excellence each and every day. Winning the division, conference, section, region and state tournaments are always the end goal. In order to accomplish that, a true team becomes a little better each day throughout the season, comes together as a tight-knit group, and executes the fundamentals in high test situations! Ultimately, we want to take it game-by-game, try and win each inning, and enjoy the journey!
Last Season: Won STAC West division. Defeated Owego in Semi-final, lost to Vestal in STAC Championship. Defeated Vestal 2-1 in a Best of Three series to win Section IV Class AA Championship. Defeated Wallkill (IX) in Regional Final, Webster Thomas (V) in Semi-final, and Fox Lane (I) to win NYSPHSAA Class AA State Championship.

Ithaca Little Red (Class AAA)
Head Coach: Ronald Amato, 8th year (23rd overall)
Key Players: Brady Chase (sr./P, 1B), Wylie Smalls (sr./SS), Leo Fiorello (jr./C), Ansel Cosgrove (sr./OF)
Team Goals: Qualify for sectionals. Compete in every game. Have players push each other to get the very best out of each individual.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC West division. Lost to Elmira in Section IV Class AAA Semi-final.

Metro
Binghamton Patriots (Class AA)

Head Coach: Michael Howell, 1st year

Johnson City Wildcats (Class A)
Head Coach: Paul Stanton, 8th year (14th overall)

Maine-Endwell Spartans (Class A)
Head Coach: Matt Raleigh, 8th year (15th overall)

Team Goals: Try to develop this team with no seniors and find a way to get to State Championship.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC Metro division. Defeated Owego 2-0 in a Best of Three series to win the Section IV Class A Championship. Defeated Peru (VII) in Regional Final and Sayville (XI) in Semi-final, lost to Pittsford Mendon (V) in NYSPHSAA Class A State Championship.

Union-Endicott Tigers (Class AA)
Head Coach: Tim Harkness, 20th year (25+ overall)
Key Players: Joey Gennarelli (sr./OF, P), Dom Abbadessa (sr./P, INF), Nick Kelly (sr./OF), Josh Mazzarese (sr./C), Lucas Pradun (jr./OF, P), Aaron Conklin (jr./INF, P)
Team Goals: Our goal from the start of our season is to maximize efforts every day in practice as we prepare for a tough season within our division and class. Focusing on working together as a team to do all the little things needed to win games and give us an opportunity at the end of the year to compete for a Section IV Class AA Championship.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC Metro division. Lost to Vestal in Section IV Class AA Semi-final.

Vestal Golden Bears (Class AA)
Head Coach: John Anderson, 37th (and final) year

Team Goals: Be completely healthy by the end of April (a few of the above names have injuries). If we are, our goal is to win the Section IV Class AA Championship.
Last Season: Won STAC Metro division. Defeated Owego in Semi-final and Horseheads to win STAC Championship. Defeated Union-Endicott in Semi-final, lost to Horseheads 2-1 in a Best of Three series for the Section IV Class AA Championship.

Central
Chenango Forks Blue Devils (Class B)

Head Coach: Jim Bender, 7th year

Team Goals: Compete every pitch and win each inning.

Chenango Valley Warriors (Class A)
Head Coach: Adam Rosengrant, 2nd year (5th overall)

Team Goals: Compete every single game. Win the STAC Central division, the Section IV Class A Championship, and make a deep postseason run.

Owego River Hawks (Class A)
Head Coach: Nick Wegmann, 5th year

Team Goals: Our goal is always to be playing our best baseball at the end of the season and to compete for a Section IV Class A Championship.
Last Season: Won STAC Central division. Lost to Vestal in STAC Semi-final. Defeated Chenango Valley in Semi-final, lost to Maine-Endwell 2-0 in Best of Three series for the Section IV Class A Championship.

Seton Catholic Saints (Class C)
Head Coach: Leo Gallagher, 1st year

Team Goals: Win the Class C State Championship! We have a good mix of older leadership and young talent to make a run at it.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC Central division. Defeated Delhi in First Round, lost to Trumansburg in Section IV Class C Quarterfinal.

Waverly Wolverines (Class B)
Head Coach: Kyle McDuffee, 23rd year
Key Players: Jack Pipher (soph.), Matthias Welles (jr.), Ben Shaw (jr.), Ronin Ault (sr.), Porter Daddona (sr.), Justin Koenig (jr.), Axel Murray (fresh.), Daltton Davis (sr.), Hogan Shaw (sr.), Sammy Cheresnowsky (soph.)
Team Goals: We have some goals in mind, but first we need to focus at the game at hand and see where that takes us. If we can do that consistently, good stuff will happen.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC Central division. Defeated Edison in Quarterfinal, lost to Oneonta in Section IV Class B Semi-final.

East
Norwich Purple Tornado (Class A)

Head Coach: Zach Alpern, 2nd year (4th overall)
Key Players: Zack Parker (sr./SS, C, P), Carmine Pastore (jr./P), Collin Reid (jr./P)
Team Goals: Break our own expectations. We have set the bar high for ourselves, and this year we are all challenging each other to know and understand that we are a successful baseball team. We want to make a splash in a league that doesn't expect much from us. We will surprise a lot of people.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC East division. Did not qualify for sectionals.

Oneonta Yellowjackets (Class B)
Head Coach: Joe Hughes, 41st year
Key Players: Nolan Stark (sr.), Brady Carr (sr.), Jameson Brown (sr.), Chase Jervis (soph.), Maddox Imperato (sr.), Grayson Brockington (sr.), Britten Zeh (sr.), Trey Jervis (8th grade)
Team Goals: Get solid pitching, play solid defense, and get timely hitting.
Last Season: Won STAC East division. Lost to Horseheads in STAC Semi-final. Defeated Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour in Quarterfinal, Waverly in Semi-final, and Lansing to win Section IV Class B Championship. Defeated Medina (VI) in Regional Final, lost to Putnam Valley (I) in NYSPHSAA Class B State Semi-final.

Susquehanna Valley Sabers (Class B)
Head Coach: Matt Merrell, 5th year (6th overall)
Key Players: Seamus MacNamee (sr.), Trey Swartwout (sr.), Colin Trotter (jr.)
Team Goals: Win the STAC East division and win the Section IV Class B Championship.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC East division. Defeated Windsor in Quarterfinal, lost to Lansing in Section IV Class B Semi-final.

Windsor Black Knights (Class B)
Head Coach: Nate Mills, 5th year (9th overall)
Key Players: Tyson Schmitt (sr.), Nico Soriano (sr.), Graham Klumpp (soph.), Cassius Hudson (8th grade), Bryson Werner (jr.)
Team Goals: Build relentless habits, compete with grit, and bring passion to our work every single day. We are committed to improving daily, attacking every detail of the game with purpose, and playing with the toughness and energy needed to compete for a Section IV Class B Championship.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC East division. Lost to Susquehanna Valley in Section IV Class B Quarterfinal.
