Corning Hawks (Class A)

Head Coach: Ray Lawson, 17th year
Key Athletes:
Boys – Combination of veteran runners hoping to have their best XC season ever, and a strong group of freshman boys looking to continue their modified success.
Girls – Three returners from last year’s sectional championship team and they are hoping to combine with new talent to chase the title again.
Team Goals: Our team goals remain the same each year to try and win STAC and Sectional Team Championships. Failing that, we try to advance as many individuals to the state meet as possible.
Last Season:
Boys – Finished 2nd at STAC Championship and 2nd at Section IV Class A Championship. Sebastian Boutwell finished 3rd, Jaxyn Mahoney 6th, Gregory Homa 9th, and Nicholas Ferratella 10th at STAC Championship. Mahoney finished 3rd, Boutwell 5th, Ferratella 7th, and Homa 8th at Section IV Class A Championship. Boutwell finished 40th, Mahoney 48th, Homa 63rd, and Ferratella 86th at NYSPHSAA Class A State Championship.
Girls – Won Section IV Class A Championship. Finished 2nd at STAC Championship and 9th at NYSPHSAA Class A State Championship. Olivia Martinec finished 3rd and Lauren Roche 7th at STAC Championship. Martinec finished 3rd, Roche 5th, Kyra Gross 7th, and Elianna Schneider 8th at Section IV Class A Championship. Martinec finished 40th, Roche 81st, Gross 97th, Madie Sweet 99th, Lillian Deuerlein 100th, Schneider 102nd, and Leila Ianovici 105th at NYSPHSAA Class A State Championship.

Riley Hubisz won STAC and Section IV Class A Championships, and finished 13th at NYSPHSAA State Championship. Noah Hilker finished 2nd, Zoltan Nadasdy 5th, and Everett Shaw 7th at STAC Championship. Hilker finished 2nd, Shaw 4th, Zoltan Nadasdy 6th, and Andor Nadasdy 9th at Section IV Class A Championship. Shaw finished 18th, Zoltan Nadasdy 44th, Andor Nadasdy 66th, Hilker 85th, William Boscia 91st, and Wyatt Eldermire 96th at NYSPHSAA Class A State Championship.
Girls – Won STAC West division and STAC Championship. Finished 2nd at Section IV Class A Championship. Tsadia Bercuvitz won STAC and Section IV Class A Championships, and finished 2nd at NYSPHSAA Class A State Championship. Avery Whittaker finished 2nd and Maren Golden 10th at STAC Championship. Whittaker finished 2nd and Skyler Lovenheim 9th at Section IV Class A Championship. Whittaker finished 41st and Lovenheim 101st at NYSPHSAA Class A State Championship.

Girls – Finished 3rd at Section IV Class B Championship. Cassandra Burt finished 2nd at Section IV Class B Championship and 84th at NYSPHSAA Class B State Championship.

Titus Patton finished 3rd, Thomas Ciaravino 5th, Tyler Hayes 6th, Oliver Parsons 7th, Kevin Middendorf 8th, and Joseph Vallone 9th at Section IV Class B Championship. Patton finished 63rd, Hayes 66th, Ciaravino 67th, Middendorf 72nd, Parsons 73rd, Vallone 84th, and Alexander Sculley 105th at NYSPHSAA Class B State Championship.
Girls – Won STAC Metro division. Finished 3rd at STAC Championship and 2nd at Section IV Class B Championship. Hellen Zhang finished 8th at STAC Championship. Savanna Ulrich finished 3rd, Zhang 4th, Pooja Venkatesh 8th, and Mikayla Silverio 10th at Section IV Class B Championship. Zhang finished 65th, Ulrich 82nd, and Venkatesh 99th at NYSPHSAA Class B State Championship.

Chenango Forks Blue Devils (Class C)

Ryan Pepples finished 6th at Section IV Class C Championship and 60th at NYSPHSAA Class C State Championship.
Girls – Finished 8th at STAC Championship. Abigail Rosengrant finished 16th at Section IV Class C Championship.

Owego River Hawks (Class B)

Javan Belokur won Section IV Class B Championship and finished 59th at NYSPHSAA Class B State Championship. Sullivan O'Donnell finished 2nd and Magavin Allen 10th at Section IV Class B Championship. O'Donnell finished 87th and Allen 94th at NYSPHSAA Class B State Championship.
Girls – Won STAC Central division and Section IV Class B Championship. Finished 4th at STAC Championship and 10th at NYSPHSAA Class B State Championship. Jaelyn Chrysler won Section IV Class B Championship, finished 4th at STAC Championship, and finished 41st at NYSPHSAA Class B State Championship. Lilly LaFever finished 5th, Stella Palladino 7th, and Abigail McHugh 9th at Section IV Class B Championship. LaFever finished 88th, Palladino 96th, McHugh 103rd, Madison McEvoy 110th, Sidney Senko 116th, and Carolyn Schuyler 117th at NYSPHSAA Class B State Championship.

Seton Catholic Saints (Class D)

Team Goals:
Get Williamson back to the state meet for the 3rd straight year and improve her personal best time of 21:20 for a cross country 5k. We have a full girls team this year, and our team goal is to simply score in the meets as a team and for all our runners, boys and girls, improve on their personal best cross country teams this year!

Team Goals: Develop their passion for running, spark their competitive side now that we have scoring teams, and push every runner to achieve the most they can within the season. I always strive to have as many runners qualify for NYSPHSAA States Championships as possible.

Girls – Finished 4th at Section IV Class C Championship. Mackenzie Chamberlain finished 5th and Harper Minaker 7th at Section IV Class C Championship. Minaker finished 59th and Chamberlain 67th at NYSPHSAA Class C State Championship.

Ziaie finished 4th, Colin Fletcher-Foster 5th, Gabriel Rissberger 7th, and Jackson Forbes 8th at Section IV Class C Championship. Ziaie finished 31st, Fletcher-Foster 40th, Forbes 43rd, Rissberger 51st, Donovan Lema 96th, Brighton Logue 102nd, and Samuel Antrosio 116th at NYSPHSAA Class C State Championship.

Boys – Run as a team. We have a small team and quite a young team, so we are hoping to be able to score as a team no matter how fast or slow we are.
Girls – Have more than one girl run. I have a senior who just moved to the area and is excited to be running, so I am excited to see how she does.
Last Season:
Boys – Finished 10th at STAC Championship and 7th at Section IV Class C Championship. Aidan Skuban finished 3rd at Section IV Class C Championship and 14th at NYSPHSAA Class C State Championship.
Girls – Did not have enough athletes to qualify for team scores at STAC or Section IV Class C Championships. Kiley Kaczynski finished 27th at Section IV Class C Championship.

Windsor Black Knights (Class C)
Head Coach: Gary Fancher, 3rd year (19th overall)
