Dryden defeated Elmira Notre Dame 6-5 in 9 innings to win the large school baseball championships. Dryden had a 3 - 2 lead after the first inning, but the Crusaders went up 4-3 after the third. By the fifth inning Elmira Notre Dame was up 5-3. The Lions came up big in the top of seventh inning to tie the score at 5- 5. In the top of the ninth inning, the Lions scored to go up 6-5 and then held the Crusaders off the board in the bottom of the ninth for the come from behind win.
