The WG/OM "Schuyler Storm" defeated Lansing 7-6 in a wet large school championship game. Lansing took the lead with a run in the first inning but WGOM scored 3 to go ahead. Lansing scored again the 3rd inning to bring it to a 3-2 game. In the fifth Lansing scored again to tie the game, but WGOM responded in the bottom 1/2 to go up 4-3. Lansing scored again in the 6th inning to tie the game again. WGOM again responded in bottom of the inning with 3m runs to go up 7-4. The Bobcats scored 2 runs in the top of the 7th to fall a run short.
