The Watkins Glen girls soccer team defeated Marathon 3 -2 to win the IAC Small School Girls Soccer Championship. The fourth championship game of the day did not disappoint as Watkins Glen and Marathon battled back and forth before WG scored with 7 minutes left in the game to break a 2 - 2 tie. Marathon had opened up the scoring midway through the first half. Watkins Glen came back 7 minutes before half time to tie up the score. Watkins Glen then went ahead ten minutes into the second half. Marathon tied up the game with a PK with 13 minutes remaining, before WG put in the game winner.
