South Kortright/Margaretville Baseball Claims Delaware League Title

ONEONTA - South Kortright/Margaretville capped its first season as a combined program with a championship May 14, defeating Gilboa-Conesville/Roxbury 6-2 in the Delaware League Title Game.
The victory marked the first Delaware League championship for the merged South Kortright/Margaretville team and a second consecutive league crown for South Kortright baseball overall.
Garrett Dropp delivered a complete-game performance on the mound, striking out eight and limiting Gilboa-Conesville/Roxbury to two runs.
South Kortright/Margaretville also received steady production throughout the lineup. Anthony Maggio collected three hits, while JB Trimbell powered the offense with two doubles.
Gilboa-Conesville/Roxbury threatened at times behind a strong showing from Preston Bruck, who finished with three hits. Garrison Ross added two hits.
