ONEONTA - Gilboa-Conesville/Roxbury didn’t just defend its crown Saturday; it left no doubt. The Wildcats poured in five goals and kept a clean sheet to defeat South Kortright/Andes, 5–0, and claim the 2025 Delaware League Boys’ Soccer Championship - GCR’s second straight league title.
Gavin Bohringer led the onslaught with two goals, while Roni Grieco, Dominic Grieco and Daniel Strauch each added one. Gilboa/Roxbury cashed in from the spot twice on the day, calmly burying a pair of penalty kicks to stretch the margin beyond reach.
Playmaker Chris Cox steered the attack with two assists, repeatedly unlocking the defense from midfield. Aiden Ballard added an assist as GCR controlled possession, pressed high, and strangled SK/Andes’ counter attempts.
Gilboa/Roxbury’s back line and keeper turned the final into a procession, limiting shots and sweeping up second balls as the Wildcats shifted seamlessly from defense to attack.
