Section IV is proud to recognize the NYSPHSAA Sportsmanship award winners for the 2022-23 school year. This award is given to schools who have developed proactive approaches in keeping sportsmanship in the forefront. Congratulations to the following member schools: Jefferson, Stamford, Union Springs, Delaware Academy, Elmira, and Cherry Valley Springfield.

Section IV is proud to recognize the NYSPHSAA School of Excellence award winners for the 2022-23 school year. To earn this a school must have 75% of their teams earn the scholar-athlete team award. Congratulations to the following member schools: Bainbridge-Guilford, Binghamton, Candor, Trumansburg, Chenango Forks, Corning-Painted Post, Maine-Endwell, Marathon, Moravia, Elmira Notre Dame, Odessa-Montour, Southern Cayuga, Tioga, Union-Endicott, Vestal, Walton, Watkins Glen, and Windsor

Section IV is proud to announce the NYSPHSAA School of Distinction award winners for the 2022-23 school year. To earn this award a school must have 100% of their teams earn the scholar-athlete team award. Congratulations to Edmeston, Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton, Horseheads, Morris, Newfield, South Kortright, and Worcester.

Fall Appreciation Week is here! Section IV would like to thank all of our officials for their commitment to our Student-Athletes. We couldn't do it without YOU!

Don't forget that Wednesday 9/20 is the mandatory Section IV Athletic Director Workshop at Chenango Valley HS. Check-in begins at 8:30 AM. There will be guest speakers, an overview of key S4 information and lunch will be served. See you there!
